At the end of 2018, Finland had a total of 698 wind turbines with a total capacity of 2041 MW. In 2018, 5.8 TWh of electricity was generated by wind power, which covered 6.7 per cent of Finland's electricity consumption.

At the moment (03/2019), ten wind power investments (total 444,4 MW) have been published in Finland, where construction is already underway. These projects are listed in this Excel. All projects on the list will be built without separate state support.
